Arrive Dubai at 1935hrs (7.35 p.m.). Connect EK905 at 2210hrs (10.10 p.m.). Arrive Amman at 0015hrs (00.15 a.m.) On arrival in Amman airport we will be met by our representative. Proceed to Immigration, finish Visa and other formalities. Collect your baggage and proceed to hotel. Arrive at Hotel. Check in. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, visit Madaba & Mount Nebo. Just 30km from Amman, along the 5,000-year-old Kings´ Highway, is one of the most memorable places in the Holy Land. After passing through a string of ancient sites, the first city you reach is Madaba, known as the “City of Mosaics." Best known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Madaba is home to the famous 6th century Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. With two million pieces of vividly coloured local stone, it depicts hills and valleys, villages and towns as far as the Nile Delta .The Madaba Mosaic Map covers the floor of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, which is located northwest of the city centre. The church was built in 1896 AD, over the remains of a much earlier 6th century Byzantine church. The mosaic panel enclosing the Map was originally around 15.6 X 6m, 94 sq.m. Only about a quarter of which is preserved.
Mount Nebo, one of the most revered holy sites of Jordan and the place where Moses was buried. A small Byzantine church was built there by early Christians, which has been expanded into a vast complex. From a platform in front of the church one can enjoy a breathtaking view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Proceed to Sheikh Hussein Bridge to cross the border. Complete the customs & emigration formalities. Enter into Israel. Lunch at Restaurant. Proceed to Nazareth, the site of Mary's home and the town where Jesus played as a child, learned to trade, and grew up. Visit the home of Mary and Joseph and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation built over the grotto where Archangel Gabriel appeared to announce that she would bear a son, Jesus. We also visit Joseph's workshop. Proceed to hotel. Check in. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast proceed to Mt.Tabor, the sacred site of the Transfiguration. Proceed to visit Cana where Jesus performed his first Miracle, changing water into wine at the wedding feast. Visit church of Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. We stop at Tabgha - the Church of the Multiplication of the Fish and Loaves. Then we proceed to the Church of Primacy of Peter and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with his authority. This is believed to be the place where Jesus dined with his disciples. The flat rock known as Mensa Christ on Christ's table commemorates this event. We will visit Capernaum where Jesus began his Galilean ministry, see the synagogue which dates to the time of Jesus and the site of Peter's home. We drive through the landscapes of Galilee. Lunch at restaurant. Afternoon ride in a Galilean fishing boat at Sea of Galilee. Then Proceed to visit Jordan River the traditional place where Jesus Baptised by St. John. Back to Hotel Dinner and overnight Stay.
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Haifa, Israel's largest port city, built on the slopes of Mt. Carmel. Visit the Famous Persian Hanging Gardens for a view of the Bahai Shrine. Then make a brief halt at the Stella Maris Monastery, see the caves of Mount Carmel where Elijah, the prophet lived. Then continue to Muhraqa, the place of sacrifice and the site where Prophet Elijah defeated the False Prophets of Ba'al. After lunch proceed to Joppa. Visit St. Peters church. Drive to Jerusalem, check into hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, start the day by going to the pools of Beit Hasda, where Jesus helped the crippled man. From there we take the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route trodden by Jesus. Follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route. You will see Pilate's Judgment Hall, the Chapel of the Flagellation where, according to tradition, the Roman soldiers scourged Jesus and placed a crown of thorns on His head the Ecce Homo Arch and the Convent of the Sisters of Zion. Early tradition held that Pontius Pilate stood here and thundered "Ecce Homo!" Which means "Behold the man?" Which is what Pilate said when he presented Jesus to the crowd? However, we now know that pagan Emperor Hadrian constructed the arch. Below the Convent are the Lithotrities where Jesus was publicly tried and where the Roman soldiers mocked him. The last 5 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre visible from a distance, with its two silver domes. Proceed to visit Wailing Wall. Drive to Bethlehem. After Lunch proceed to visit Shepherds field and Grotto of St. Jerome. Proceed to Bethlehem, which is located in the Judah province. It was here that the Angel announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds of Bethlehem during the reign of King Herod. We then visit the Church of the Nativity - the birthplace of Jesus and the City of David, Manager Square, Visit Milk Groto. Back to Hotel, Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Ein Karem, located in the hills next to a little spring. This is the city of Judah and birthplace of John the Baptist, son of Elizabeth & Zechariah. Visit the Church of Visitation. Proceed to Jericho. Lunch at Restaurant. Visit Jericho, stop and view the traditional Mount of Temptation and Sycamore Tree. It is also the place where Jesus stopped on this way to Jerusalem, on the Eve of the Passover and where Jesus cured the blind man during his stay at Zacchaeus house. Proceed to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth (1305 ft. below sea level), make a brief stop at a private beach and take the opportunity to float in the salty buoyant water, rich in minerals. Drive to Bethany. Visit home town of Mary, Martha & Lazarus. Visit Lazarus Tomb Back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast, we drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit sanctuaries of Pater Noster Ascension. Walk along the Palm Sunday road down to the chapel of Dominus Flevit where Jesus wept over eminent destruction of Jerusalem. The chapel is built in the shape of a tear as a poignant reminder to this event. Proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed while Judah betrayed him to the Romans. Visit the Basilica of agony. Proceed to Mount Zion Visit the Cenacle - Last Supper Room. Visit the Tomb of King David, Visit Dormition abbey the place where Mary ascended to heaven. Then continue to Church of St. Peter of Gallicantu, (which symbolizes Peter's denial of Jesus as he has prophesied at the Last Supper) and visit the traditional house of High Priest Caiaphas, where Jesus was imprisoned. Lunch at Restaurant. Then Proceed to Taba (4.5 hrs. Drive). Arrive at Taba. Finish the Customs and Emigration formalities. Proceed to the Hotel in Taba. Check in. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to St. Catherine. Visit St. Catherine Monastery, set the beneath mountain where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments. The Monastery has been one of the world's great centres of religious pilgrimage for over fifteen centuries. Within its imposing walls rests a citadel like no other, incredibly rich in important religious and historical structures. Among its treasures is a library of ancient manuscripts and icons second only to the Vatican itself and a 6th century church reputed to lie directly on the site of the Burning Bush. Quite simply, the monastery is a defining feature of the Holy Land. Proceed to Cairo. Enroute Lunch at Restaurant. Visit the Well of Marah Cross the famous Suez Canal. Arrive at Cairo. Dinner at restaurant. Check in and Overnight stay at Hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed on a visit to Pyramids, the last surviving member of the seven wonders of the world , the great pyramid of Giza .There are in fact three main pyramids in Giza ; the great pyramids of Khufu ( or Cheops ) , the pyramid of Kafhre and the smaller Pyramid of Menkaura . Each pyramid is a tomb to a different King of Egypt. In front of the pyramids lies Sphinx, or Abu al - Hol in Arabic, “Father of Terror”. Carved out of a single block of stone, this enormous cat like sculpture has mesmerized millions of visitors. Lunch at restaurant. Visit the Egyptian Museum, it was built during the reign of Khedive Abbass Helmill in 1897, and opened on November 15, 1902. It has 107 halls. At the ground floor there are huge statues. The upper floor houses small statues, jewels, Tutankhamen treasures and the mummies. Back to Hotel, refresh Evening cruise on the River Nile, dinner on board. Enjoy the Shows on board. Back to Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the old churches of Cairo. Lunch at Restaurant. Later Transfer to Cairo Airport. Depart by EK924 at 1840hrs (6.40 p.m.). Overnight on board.
