  • Vienna: Austria’s capital, lies in the country’s east on the Danube River. Its artistic and intellectual legacy shaped by residents including Mozart, Beethoven, and Sigmund Freud. The city is also known for its Imperial palaces, including Schönbrunn, the Habsburgs’ summer residence.

  • Guided city tour of Vienna: Soak up the imperial architecture, the blue waters of the Danube or check out the delicious cake shops and cafes. See the former residence of the Habsburg dynasty at the Hofburg Palace, St Stephen’s Cathedral, Schönbrunn Palace, the Vienna State Opera and more.
  • Concert at Kursalon with dinner: Begin the evening with four courses of an authentic meal at the Restaurant Johann inside the stunning Kursalon Vienna concert hall. After dinner, move to Lanner Hall for a performance of classical masterpieces from Mozart and Strauss, accompanied by ballet dancers and opera singers.

VIENNA - BRATISLAVA - VIENNA (100 MILES)

  • Bratislava: The capital of Slovakia, is set along the Danube River by the border with Austria and Hungary. It surrounded by vineyards and the Little Carpathian Mountains, crisscrossed with forested hiking and cycling trails. 
  • Excursion to Bratislava: Soak up the stunning landscape and cross the border into Slovakia. Learn the rich history behind the city as you pass top attractions and architectural gems. Continue to the Rococo-style Grassalkovich Palace, an 18th-century social spot for Hungarian aristocracy. Then admire the Primate's Palace, considered one of the most stunning buildings in the city. Enjoy some time shopping in local shops and cafes.

VIENNA - HALLSTATT (180 MILES) - SALZBURG (45 MILES)

  • The Salzkammergut: A resort area located in Austria, stretching from the city of Salzburg eastwards along the Alpine Foreland and the Northern Limestone Alps to the peaks of the Dachstein Mountains. The main river of the region is the Traun, a right tributary of the Danube. 
  • St Gilgen: A village by the Wolfgangsee in the Austrian state of Salzburg, in the "Salzkammergut" region.

SALZBURG - INNSBRUCK (103 MILES) - MUNICH (95 MILES)

  • Maria Theresien Strasse: One of the busiest streets in the city of Innsbruck and certainly worth a visit is Maria Theresa Street. Named for Empress Maria Theresa, this bustling street is home to some shops and stretches from the Triumphal Arch to the Old Town (Altstadt). During the summer of 2009, a section of the street was renovated entirely and designed to reflect a pedestrian street concept. The north end of the road is today fully-pedestrianized.
  • Swarovski Crystal Museum: Enjoy a fascinating experience in the ‘world of crystals.’ An experience that leaves you amazed at the dazzling glitter as you walk through this museum. An excellent opportunity to buy a souvenir for your family.
  • Munich: The capital and the most populated city in the German state of Bavaria, on the banks of the River Isar north of the Bavarian Alps. Munich is also the third largest city in Germany, after Berlin and Hamburg, and the 12th largest city in the European Union, with a population of around 1.5 million.

MUNICH - BAVARIAN ALPS - MUNICH (131 MILES)

  • Excursion to Bavarian Alps: Enjoy the two gems Bavarian Alps, Neuschwanstein Castle, and Linderhof Palace. First stop is Linderhof Palace, a small palace built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria. Though inspired by France’s Versailles Palace, Linderhof’s interior is somewhat private and humble. Leaving Linderhof behind, head next to Oberammergau, where you’ll have free time to walk around. Wander the lanes of this quaint village and see beautiful examples of the traditional art of woodcarving. Continue to Neuschwanstein Castle. Before hiking up the hill see Mary's Bridge (Marienbrücke), the best spot for postcard views of the castle. The most famous of three royal palaces built for King Louis II of Bavaria, Neuschwanstein sits on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau.

MUNICH

  • Guided city tour: Discover sights such as the Pinakotheken art museums, the world famous Hofbrauhaus, the National Theater with the Royal Palace, Marienplatz and the Viktualien market with its colorful outdoor stalls, Palace of Nymphenburg, the former summer residence of the Bavarian elector princes and kings with its beautiful and spacious gardens.
  • The Olympic Tower: A tower building in the Olympic Park, Munich. It has an overall height of 291 m and a weight of 52,500 tons. At the height of 190 m, there is an observation platform as well as a small rock and roll museum housing various memorabilia, which is signposted as "Rock Museum" outside the entrance.
  • Sea Life: Germany’s largest Sea Life center, taking visitors on an underwater journey through local rivers and tropical seas, from the comfort of its 2,200 square meter Olympic Park building. With over 8,000 weird and wonderful sea creatures swimming in over 700,000 liters of water, and 33 climate-controlled aquariums, the facts speak for themselves, and there’s no better place to stand face-to-face with the creatures of the deep. 
  • The BMW Museum: An automobile museum of BMW history located near the Olympia Park in Munich, Germany. The museum was established in 1973, shortly after the Summer Olympics opened.
