  • St. Petersburg: A Russian port city on the Baltic Sea. It was the imperial capital for two centuries, having been founded in 1703 by Peter the Great, subject of the city's iconic “Bronze Horseman” statue. It remains Russia's cultural center, with venues such as the Mariinsky Theatre hosting opera and ballet, and the State Russian Museum showcasing Russian art, from Orthodox icon paintings to Kandinsky works.

  • St. Petersburg City Tour: see the famous sights: Spit of the Basil Island, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Palace Square, Сhurch of the Saviour on the Spilled Blood, and other. Drive by Nevsky prospect, the Neva embankments (no entrance ).
  • Art Museum of Hermitage. Founded by Catherine, the Great the museum occupies five buildings and has among the other a famous collection of Western-European Art that includes paintings by Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Rubens, Van Dyke. Winter Palace is a part of the Hermitage

 

DAY 04

ST. PETERSBURG

  • Highlights of the day: Pushkin Excursion, St. Peter and Paul fortress, Neva Canal Cruise
  • Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Visit Catherine's Palace with the famous Amber Room. 
  • Lunch at a local restaurant.

  • Catherine’s Palace: Founded in 1718 as a summer residence of Russian Empresses. It was reconstructed several times in the XVIII-XIX centuries, and now we can see interiors in baroque, classical and rococo styles. During the World War II, the palace was occupied and very severely damaged. Some rooms were restored quite recently. Among them is the famous Amber Room.
  • St. Peter and Paul fortress: The Peter and Paul Fortress is the original citadel of St. Petersburg, Russia, founded by Peter the Great in 1703 and built to Domenico Trezzini's designs from 1706 to 1740 as a star fortress. In the early 1920s, it was still used as houra prison and execution ground by the Bolshevik government.
  • Neva River Cruise: Delight in magical St Petersburg on a sightseeing cruise along the Neva River. Sailing along the Neva River in St Petersburg, pass the Peter and Paul Fortress; glide beneath some of the city’s beautiful bridges, and give beautiful landmarks such as the Summer Garden and Mariinsky Theatre as learning their history. 

 

DAY 05

ST. PETERSBURG - MOSCOW

  • Highlights of the day: Savior on the Spilt Blood Church, St. Petersburg to Moscow by Bullet train
  • Breakfast at the hotel. 
  • Proceed to Savior on the Spilt Blood Church 
  • Lunch at Restaurant .
  • Transfer to the train station
  • Sapsan bullet train to Moscow
  • Arrive in Moscow train station and transfer to hotel. 
  • Check-in, Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Savior on the Spilt Blood Church: one of the main sights of Saint Petersburg, Russia. Other names include the Church on Spilled Blood, the Temple of the Savior on Spilled Blood, and the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ.

MOSCOW

  • Highlights of the day: Moscow City Tour, Kremlin, Red Square, Subway
  • Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Metro (subway) 
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Moscow City Tour: see Poklonnaya Hill, New Maiden Convent, Vorobievy Hills. Drive by Tverskaya Street, Manezhnaya square, Ohotny Riad, Bolshoy theatre, Lubianka square, Savior Cathedral, the Kremlin and Kropotkinskaya embankments, Etc. (no entrances)
  • Kremlin: a fortified complex at the heart of Moscow, overlooking the Moskva River to the south, Saint Basil's Cathedral and Red Square to the east, and the Alexander Garden to the west.
  • Red Square: A city square in Moscow, Russia. It separates the Kremlin, the former royal citadel and now the official residence of the President of Russia, from a historic merchant quarter known as Kitai-gorod.
  • The Moscow Metro: A rapid transit system serving Moscow, Russia and the neighboring Moscow Oblast cities of Krasnogorsk, Reutov, Lyubertsy, and Kotelniki.

MOSCOW

  • Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
  • The Kremlin Armoury:  One of the oldest museums of Moscow, established in 1851 and located in the Moscow Kremlin, now a part of Moscow Kremlin Museums. The Kremlin Armoury originated as the royal arsenal in 1508.
  • The Diamond Fund: A unique collection of gems, jewelry, and natural nuggets, which are stored and exhibited in the Moscow Kremlin in Russia. The Fund dates back to the Russian Crown treasury instituted by Emperor Peter I of Russia in 1719 .
  • Nikulin’s Circus: Located on Tsvetnoi Boulevard in the Tverskoy District of central Moscow. It was the only circus in the city between 1926 and 1971 and remains the most popular one.
